Dimora Buonriposo is a historic country house nestled in the heart of Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built in 1560, this former convent has been transformed into a charming bed and breakfast, offering guests an authentic Tuscan experience.

We'll be at Dimora all day — relax at the villa, enjoy the pool, hike, or cycle (free bikes available!).

We'll travel from Florence to Val D'Orcia and check in at Dimora in the afternoon.

If you arrive earlier, explore nearby wineries and medieval cities (see recommendations below) and join us for evening activities. A separate chat will be available for those interested in joining dinners and activities!

Val d’Orcia inspires a very peculiar feeling of déjà vu, since this valley is one of the most photographed, and idealized, places in all of Italy.

Another cute farmhouse from 1930s in walking distance from Podere Gonzaga. Set on 100 hectares, it specializes in Chianina cattle breeding and vineyards producing DOC Orcia red wine, which guests can taste, alongside exploring the farm. Special rates available for our guests! See RSVP form.

Relais Val D’Orcia

A charming, renovated farmhouse from 1730 that is transformed into a modern spa hotel. Very recommended if you want to add a bit of romance to the trip.
